Ok a few questions. long...
I finally decided I want to learn how to tune this thing after having it a year. I'll start with my mods first:
full exhaust, no cat
intakes
custom SMIC
sequential BNR stage 3's
stock fuel(planning on going 4x850's)
stock ports(for now)
As of now I've been running these mods on the base map(base mod I think) with max boost set to 13psi for about the past 9months with no problems at all. I have adjusted the fuel it's running around 11.0-11.2 afr at this setting, which seems to be richer than what the base map runs for 10psi according to the WB.
My plan is to run a max boost of 15psi sequentially with the upgraded injectors. I only want about 350hp max, for now. I do have access to a map tuned for 17psi non sequential. One question is would running this map for the higher rpms be ok(theoretically speaking, I would adjust the afr's and such). And what would need to be done for the extra boost on the primary?? Just retard the timing 2-3degrees and adjust the afr's?? Also what about the turbo transiton?? I would really like a sequential map to compare to the base map, or a non-seq, if someone is willing to let me look at one because it's hard to find a map tuned for running sequentially.
I'm trying to learn more about tuning the timing, as I already know how to adjust the afr's.
And last question when my car is warm and I crank it, it seems to idle low, 400is rpms, for 5-10sec. then goes to normal, what can I do to adjust this since the cranking setting for 80*C are already at 1.00/1.00?? It runs rich at idle because I've had to pull alot of fuel out to get a smooth idle.

Ok, I think I've figured out the first part, if not I have someone around here I can ask. But what about this???
