So I've been chasing boost issues since I brought my FD 3/4 years ago. Only getting 0.2bar below 4,500rpm & 0.8bar after but a sort of fuel cut up high. I replaced the black box of solenoids (1999 Type RS) with brand new from Mazda, swapped out PC & WG solenoids and the CC one on KIM along with all check valves & hoses. Yesterday I went back through actuating each actuator in turn manually & all were fine.

I then swapped the standard ECU back in (previous owner gave it to me with a pile of spares) & there it is primary turbo working again. The other strange thing is all of a sudden I can hear my Bosch 044 in-tank fuel pump which I couldn't with the PFC

Going to borrow a Hako cable in the next hour or 2 hopefully

Is the PFC a dud? Have checked for sequentials being switched on etc & all good.

 

Can anyone check my map if I send it through to them? Just to confirm it's all ok
