need some advice for setting up PFC

Just finished converting my car to single turbo, but need some help setting up my PFC. I have stock primary's, 1600cc secondary's. I have problems with Idle which at start up stays at about 1500-2000 rpms, when corrected to lower rpms as soon as I touch the throttle it starts to surge up and down. I was wondering if anybody knows what I should set my fuel correction at and my inj pulse timing at. also at idle it smokes alot, as if it is running too rich.

my $.02

I just installed my PFC and my engin RPM pulsed like that too... *For My Car* I adjusted the set screw on the throttle body that has that nut on it...I am not sure what the technical term is. It adjusts the idle rpm's. Mine was set too high (too high of rpm) because I was having problems with the car dieing if the idle was too low with the stock ecu.
So when I swaped the ECU's my car would pulse for about 20-30 seconds (950 -> 1300 rpm pulses) whenever the car eventually returned to idle and then would idle at about 1200 rpm...
If I adjusted that set screw to idle at lower rpm then the ecu (which is trying to idle at the normal 750~800 rpm) will idle smoother. At least mine did.
good luck,

-Dave

The PFC needs time to "learn" your car's idle characteristics. Mine took about 4 weeks for the car to idle like it did before the ECU swap.

Thanks for the suggestions, since I last posted the car has been running much smoother and I droped down the lag times fo the inj. and it isnt as rich. The surging only acures now with the a/c on and not always, so I'll try your suggestion if it doesnt stop. Thanks again for the advice.
