need a lil help with my PFC and single turbo>>

ok, my car runs like ****.. no power and boggs a lot..
i'm running base maps right now, i will be getting it tuned shortly, but i just wanted to take it around the block a few times..
my mods are: T-78,greddy 3 row ic, street ported motor,midpipe/catback,1600cc injectors, fuel pressure regulator, and supra TT pump
i changed the setting for the injectors(1500)
is this normal for a my setup to be running like this on base maps, or is there something ealse wrong?
thanks for the help..

This really is not apples to apples, but mine with base maps (only changes: 1300cc sec, disable seq turbos) runs pretty darn good as a grocery getter. Before I get flamed, I have not taken my car anywhere since getting it back from Austin except getting my RX7 fix every night and terrorizing the neighborhood hehe.

If knew absolutely nothing about RX7s and just jumped in it, I would think it was stock by the way it idles and drives (at least up to 4/10ths driving from what I can tell). Idles nice, and pulls thru 5K rpms with barely a hiccup (relatively).

Apexi single
CW IC (SMIC)
Supra TT fuel pump
1300cc secs
Random Tech Hiflow cat
RB Dual CB

So how much ya charge for tuning Chuck? I only live down the street from ya!

Hey Robert - yeah, no airpump at the moment. I'm thinking about rigging an electric airpump from a Camaro and have it plumbed directly into the cat, bypassing the ACV. Trying to keep it simple hehe. We don't have emmisions here (my county) yet, but I like to be able not to have a shirt smelling like exhaust fumes . It's not bad now compared to MP of course, but I would like it a little cleaner.

The shop says their experience is that Random Tech cats hold up better then other cats do w/o an airpump, and the Random Tech people says its fine to run w/o an airpump, along as that its tuned correctly (not overly rich).

The air pump serves to add oxygen to assist in the chemical process of cleaning the exhaust, and I'm guessing it that serves double duty to cool restrictive cats (ie stock)? With a free flowing cat, I'm thinking that I can worry less about heat back up. Just have to get off my butt and order an electric airpump....
