Need help

First of all. How come there are not very threads in this forum? Anyway, does anyone have a good, time tested MAP for a large street port FD they could send me. Preferably one still using twins. Thanks

A map for a large street port will have greatly different timing between if it runs stock twins or a large single. Try the GT35R T4 1.06 from the yahoo group for timing. It uses a stock map sensor and is for a PineApple Medium port with the GT35R T4 1.06 long runner kit. At you own risk of course since you will have to tune it both AFR and knock watch.

I might give that one a try. Is there anywhere that explains the differences in timing required for large ports versus stock or medium ports?

The more boost, the lower the timing until the the point of diminishing returns.
That means at some point timing does not needed to be reduced any further.

Max VE is at max torque where timing will be lower than before and after it.
Porting affects the Maz VE range.
Max VE will shift depending on turbo efficiency for the boost being run.

Best to really ask someone really experinced like Crispeed.
