Picture a website that you drag a drop your data files. start map, and enter in your AFR goals into. You provide an email address, then you get sent your new suggested PFC map.

Wouldn't that be fun?

 

Sure it would be fun except as paranoid as I am I would never trust the maps.


Hell I didn't trust Ray's maps that came with the PFC and were supposedly tuned for my mods.

 

Wow, now you guys have me paranoid with the maps Dave Barninger (KD Rotary) put on my Power FC...??

 

Manny you own those maps...so if you want to send them to someone to have them checked out, I am sure you can get that done.

And you don't think I would be checking them out when we start tuning your car at mile 501?

Jeff, yours is the healthy place to be when dealing with anything that would shoved into the "brain" of our cars.

 

I live by two rules when it comes to this stuff. The first is the Russian saying regarding nuclear disarmament:
"Trust..........but verify!"

The second is left over from when I was a practicing psychotherapist:
"Just cause you're a diagnosed paranoid, doesn't mean that some of the things you worry about won't get you when you aren't looking!"

Even though I think we are preaching to the choir, I hope more than just we few are listening.

 

So Jeff, using the "brain" analogy of a couple of posts before and one of your (many) professions, tossed into the mix of your tuning skills....are you now a PSCYHOTUNER?!

it's a great idea. but i think i would still be skeptical.


maybe something that you could plug your mods and desired A/F into, and you would get a 'basic building block' or something...
