Mounting PFC

Ok this maybe a silly question. But how do you mount the PFC computer since there are no screw holes? Does it need to be mounted to the brackets (for grounding issues)?

It can be either rested upon the floorboard, or velco stripped to the original bracket, or remove the bracket and push it up into the opening.

This is where you are allowed to be creative. All gounds are through the cable grounds.

I cut a chunk out of the stock bracket to make room for the Commander cable, and then reused both stock brackets. The PFC sits VERY solidly in place, velcroed to both stock brackets.

I did a specail bracket for my PFC. Will post some picture later, i was trying to post it but the pictures is more than 100k.

Anyway, i use a sheet of Alum., and make a simular shape to match with the top mounting plate and cut a space for the plug of the commander. (I will retake the picture and post it later on) I use strong double tape to hold the PFC under the custom plate.

The bottom bracket, i just use the stock one; so that it will gives a better holding for PFC

Just used the stock brackets, drilled and tapped the case to accept fastener of my choice.

I also cut openings for datalogit plug and apexi boost controller kit plug

I just put double sided tape on mine on to the stock bracket and works like a charm, commander plug sits on top rather than the bottom. if you need pics let me know.
