maping for single turbo fd

hello guys i've got 93 fd that is now single turbo with a garret gt35r a/r 70
-full turbo back 3"
-power fc with power commander
-550cc primery
-850cc secondary and plan to put some 1300cc when i find a way to see if my set up is good
-running 8 psi now but will increase to 12 psi with the 1300 sec
-engine freshly rebuild (5000km) stock port 3mm apex seal
so my idle is hard to stabilise big black smoke is comming out from my exhaust at idle but if we forgot the idle problem the engine is running great. so it's too rich in my idea for the idle , there's a place in the setting option of my power fc that i can lean the injection mapping and then the idle is very good, stable and with no black smoke, but that option lean all the curve of the injection so if i go for a ride it's running lean, too lean for boost so i have to redone the adjusment when i go for a ride. All that story to ask you if a could remap the idle mix for a good idle and good performance. And last but not least if i find a mapping for 8 psi will it be good for 12psi. Hope to have news soon.

you need a wideband o2 sensor and a datalogit to tune your car. if you have alot of black smoke with the stock map, it's possible you're running rich or you might check that your map sensor is hooked up and working properly as well. If its disconnected it would run rich.

I wouldnt take a chance on "finding mapping" for even 8 psi, each car is different and should be tuned according to its own needs. Which goes back to getting a wideband o2 sensor such as the innovative LC1 along with the datalogit to log, and start learning how to tune yourself or idealy find someone that will tune your car for you,
