i do not know if you can split the signal. you may have to decide between the gauge and the datalogit.
identify the proper wire and wire it to a port on the datalogit. as to fahrenheit or celcius you just enter your preference. you could even make up your new temperature scale

I have datalogged off of an Autometer but the signal needed to be reduced (0-5V) for datalogit. I just used a voltage divider circuit, there was a write up on this somewhere out on the web.
If you search under Jeff48 here on the Forum, he lists a few schematics, to take the signal from the probe itself.
If you wanted to go the Autometer route the meter cost me around $40. You could still use your Defi if you'd like.

I made a switch between gauge and fcbox but fcbox doesn't seem to be reading themocouple voltages. I route the signal to fcbox and all it does is to read it like 0.02 0.01 etc..
reducing? The voltage at the thermocouple probe sensor wire is too low I think I need an amplifier.
