lock timing on power fc

hi everyone..im gonna help my friend install the his single tubo and power fc set-up..hes got the Datalogit software and i was wondering if theres a way to lock timing to set your base timing w/ the datalogit?

I believe there is however I don't understand what you mean by base timing.

what i mean is to lock timing at a fixed point such as 20*ATDC for T1 so your light would hit the "pointer" on the front cover..basically to confirm your base timing is correct

No, but! You would have to be out of the idle range and put the same timming in all the cells that will be around the rpm area that you will be using.

Then with a calibrated timing wheel, you could do it. Would also have to use the trailing plug to get single sparks which would be easier to see.
