So I finally got around to buying a PFC. It is a USED one and the previous owner was running mods such as air filter, cat back and mid pipe. I'm running similar mods except I don't have a midpipe but I have a down pipe and front mount.

My question is if I were plug this into my car will this PFC "learn" to adjust to my car's mods or will it assume that I was still running what the previous owner was running?

I've just had my engine rebuilt so I don't want to risk anything again after running lean with dire consequences.

My PFC is the newer version for the 96-98 FD, and it did not come with the commander or hand set.

whatever parameters were set in are going to be what the car will run... it will not "learn" to adapt to your mods. there is a site with some maps that will be safe to run on your car just look at the mods for each one. i cannot remember where they are but run a quick search. good luck
