Inside Power FC

Does anyone have a picture of the inside of the power FC. I ask this because i opened mine up today and discovered that their was a place where a chip can be put. Is this normal? And is this the reason why it is not holding memory? NAy thanks would be much apreciated.

Unlikely to be why it's not holding memory - the socket is probably so Apexi could upgrade the system in future if they wanted/needed. There is loads of electronic stuff that comes with spare sockets etc.

When you say it's not holding memory - can you give us more details? Have you got it hooked up to a Commander or Datalogit? What have you been trying to do?

I have it hooked up to a Commander. I am able to programme information into it, and it will use that information untill i turn of the ignition. When i turn the car back on it will have erased the info that has just been put in and will go back to the original info.
