I have recently got my first FD and it came with a Power FC. The car is currently torn apart (paint) and I will be putting it back together here shortly. The previous owner said that I will have to get it tuned with the black box rather than the handheld because there is now 850 Primaries and 1650 Secondary's and the handheld will not let me do it. I have been reading through the manual and it shows that you can adjust it through the handheld. What are your experiences?

 

The Datalogit "black box" is needed to properly setup the injectors.
It also makes tuning so much easier and quicker.

Remove the 850 non stock primaries as they are ****.
Replace with ID 725s.

 

Thank you for the reply and sorry for the late response. As for the injectors, I do not have a choice at the moment since the car came with them. I may change them later if needed.

 

What you really mean is that your finances are hurting like the national budget!
Stop, save, and do all at once to avoid more expenses in the future for additional tuning costs.
