idle and misc. problems

I have done search, but the car sometimes drop below 500 rpm when put in neutral and at stop light. I have mess with the PFC idle function, decel fuel pickup..etc .etc. also adjust bleed screw. This only happens occasionally, I realize the car idles fine after warm-up, but when during 5-15 mile roll, the idle gets funcky and unstable. it stumbles around 800- 1500 rpm bounce. Any help? I have 1600 cc secondary and a large port. THanks

What do you have your idle set to in the Commander? Might need to bring it up a hair from 850 rpm with the street port.

Have you adjusted the dashpot to control throttle closure?

If you are running 1000rpm idle, is it for all three idle speeds.

Try turning off the O2 FB controll and adjust your idle fuel for best idle. If you have O2 FB on and have done a recalc with the DL, that causes the problem. If so, you need to buy my tuning notes.

My O2 FB control is off. The idle is fine when the car sits, it idles around 1100 rpm range and solid. The problem only occurs when the car rolls at 5-10 mph, then the idle become unstable and bounces from 800 to around 1500 depending on what value I set on the PFC idle/rev setting.
How do you adjust the dashpot? I thought they only come in a set setting from the factory?

The dashpot is a mechanical device that slow the closing of the throttle thus preventing it closing instantly.

There are two clutch switches. The bottom one near the firewall is for starting only. The upper one is for sometype of ecu control. Verify that it is working properly.
