idle issues

Hey everyone. I just got back from another stent overseas. The battery died again whole I was gone. Don't use Braille batteries. Anyhow, I was able to jump the car when I got back. Ran fine. I had some leaks though. I did an abs delete and replaced the water pump and housing gaskets. It's been down about for weeks now. I started it tonight to find no leaks but my car is idling ready rough. It's running on both rotars but AFRs are down around 10.0 to 10.4 and the idle is bouncing between 700 and 1000 rpm. I checked all vacuum lines and plugs. TPS seems fine as well as three idle air control. Could my pfc drop the tune from the bad battery. It's got a new bat with a bat tender on it now.

No battery affect on tune! Why did you not disconnect the battery while you were away for
xxx days?

My buddy was supposed to take care of the car for me. Bat died and he fell through. What I don't understand is that it ran fine when I got back. A few fixed leaks, abs delete, and painted manifold later, it runs like garbage. I'll plug in the commander and have RP send me my tune. Hopefully that will fix it.

Whenever an engine runs fine, then work is done on it, then it is messed up; most likely it is user error. That means you messed up something being either hoses or electrical.
Back to work for you

I figured it out. My dumb self just didn't check the map sensor vacuum line. Everything is fine. Runs like a champ. Tune is fine too. I just had it lying there. Makes me feel real bright!
