idle adjustment when you first install

If I remember corectly you screw the idle screw all the way in and back it off 1/2 to 3/4 out. Is this correct it has been a while since I put mine in. My friend is putting his in right now. And we need to know as soon as posible.

I just installed mine today and from what I've read it's the idle air bleed screw right underneath the elbow. I haven't done this yet but I'm sure it will solve my idle jumping problem.

Yeah, I just installed mine a couple weeks ago and you need to do this in order for the Power FC to learn to idle correctly.

I have a question about the learning process.

I understand learning process is screw all the way in and turn it back for 1/2 to 3/4 turn. (in the turning process, do i do it before or after i start the car)

After that i understand i need to let the car run for about 10 mins. But after that do i turn it in or out ? (is it depend on the on-time idle, then i make adjustment)

If i dont do learning process, is that meaning the Power FC doesnt know how to idle ?

I have removed the cold start sys. Do i have to adjust the idle everytime i start ?

Thx ANDY

I would do 1 turn open. Even after starting and after the PFC learns idle control, it most likely will not be correct. It will have to be re-adjusted.

I prefer it to be a tad too opened such that when you come to a stop, it takes about 3 seconds for the revs to drop to the selected idle.

Thats about where I had to start. All the way in and then 1/4 turn back my car wouldn't even idle to learn the idle.
