I need a map to get me to the tuner....

I am taking my car to Rotor Sports Racing next week to be dyno tuned and I need a Power FC map to get me there (about 4 hours of highway driving). Anyone have something they are using that I can put in without datalogit?

XS T04S
550/1300
Denso Fuel Pump
HKS Twin Power
N Tech Cat
RB Dual Exhaust
Greddy FMIC
Block Off Plates
Power FC

I wont be boosting (on the way there anyway!) and just need something a bit more custom than the base maps.

Thanks for the help!

Shawn

I have tried that map and it is a piece of crap...I have read 3 or 4 times since that that map has killed some engines and it seems to be the concensus that it is not a map for an xs single. Not sure why it is left up there but anyway....

Anyone have a map they are actually running that is close?

It is a t04 map however the parameters you need to adjust are not accessible through the commander. You need a datalogit.

If you just need to get to the shop and you are not going to boost then just take out some timing and add some fuel through the pimm settings. like the base settings in the pimm are all at 100%, so from 2.5v and up bump them to say 115% and you should be fine, hell bump them all up and just run pig rich until you get to the shop. How far do you have to go?

Jodeny - why post half a working setup to the forum sticky? It doesn’t say anything about having a datalogit to use that map and even if it did it would be useless if you didn’t have the necessary info to make the other changes with the datalogit. I appreciate your feedback and am in no way attacking you (since I am pretty sure you are not responsible for the sticky or the forum in general) but if that is common knowledge why have that map posted the way it is? Wouldn’t it make more sense to post maps that don’t require a datalogit there and keep the datalogit maps to the datalogit exchange group that I have seen post from time to time?

machinehead - I have to drive 4 hours mostly on the highway. I will look at the map this weekend and take your suggestions and see what I come up with. Unfortunately I have no other option than driving it there so I guess I will have to make due. I was able to get my hands on a map that seems to be done without a datalogit and has been used on a car for over a year. There are some significant differences! I will be interested to see what my map looks like after tuning.

Everyone else - I will probably be taking the time to copy down my map after tuning to share with anyone who wants to look at it. Just pm me. There seems to be a definite lack of support here for non- datalogit Power FC users.
