How to tell Injector Size

Hey guys,

I'm currently finishing up an engine replacement/general overhaul and have run into some tuning issues I was hoping you could help with. In this rebuild I have installed several new mods including:
-850cc primaries (now 850's all around)
-Judge Ito "Aggressive Street Port"
-Racing Beat Dual-Tip Catback
-Upgraded Downpipe
-Greddy FMIC

When I ordered my PFC the seller (rx7.com) asked for this list of mods so that they could install a 'pre-tune' on the ECU that would get the car in running order. However, when I start the car now it is idling incredibly rich very similar to how it was running on the stock ECU. It is my thought that the seller made an error with this 'pre-tune' and didn't increase the primary injector size from 550cc since I have checked everything else in the fuel system and all is performing as it should.

My questions is: Is there an easy way to tell on the map what injector size it is tuned for? I have installed FC-Edit and have opened up the map to look at but am pretty lost. Without getting really into the details of how to tune I was wondering if there is an easy way to tell what injector size it is set for so I don't waste time going back to the seller if that isn't the issue.

I do plan on getting a real tune on a dyno at the end of this, but I was at least hoping the car would be drive-able enough for a few 2-mile trips into town to get a few other things done on it. In this state it isn't driveable.

Thanks for any and all help,
Ryan

Running stock 850 in the primaries is the worst thing you can do as they are hard to setup and tune. This is due to the PFC not allowing you to run small/short injector duty cycle for that large of and injector. It can be done but it takes some finagling.

Best for you to read the PFC manual about it. It tells enough for you to learn. After all that is all we had back in 1999 before the DATALOGIT came out.
