I went to a car show this weekend and they had a dyno there for fun but they were only using a floor round fan. Car was pretty heat soaked when it was finally on the rollers, 80C ait, 107C rad after just one pass.
I use pre turbo and pre throttle water injection for safety and also have chuck's recommendations pulling timing and adding fuel at elevated ait and rad temps.
only did one and a half passes as the car wasn't liking these conditions. Result: 230whp at 12psi. dyno wideband pegged at 10.0:1 the lowest it would read.
The car had dynoed 315whp years ago at the same boost with less mods but on a nice and cool day. Compression is good so is the low power due to the hot temp safety measures?
