hot startup problem since PFC install
Since installing my PFC i have a problem with startup after the engine is full hot. (but not every time). When i start the engine up hot it jumps to 3000rpm for a couple of seconds, then start a idle hunt at around 800-1100 till i turn it off. I then emediately turn it back on and its fine...idles perfectly. Otherwise the car is running great, have had PFC for about a month now.
any help would be appreciated.
thx.

Once again the most asked question from a newb. A search will reveal many such posts.
Make sure that your three idle speeds are set like you want them.
The engine is getting too much air most likely. Reduce the amount using the "Air Adjusting Screw" by turning it 1/4 turn CW. If this does not drop the rpm enough, try another 1/4 turn until it works. If it is already screwed in, then adjust the "Throttle Adjusting Screw" for less air flow.
If you do not understand what I am saying, then get/read/study all of section "F" of the Mazda manual.
