is that mod list in your profile accurate?

This map has zero trailing split. The leading and trailing plugs are always firing at the same time. Most tuners would consider that very aggressive for a turbo engine with pump fuel.

yes my mod list is accurate. This car was tuned/setup by KD Rotary. It does not even use the trailing plugs, they are blocked off with screws. They call it the "anti-det" mod. Sorry I forgot to mention that.

This is why I bought the datalogit and have a wideband on the way. I want to put the trailing plugs BACK into the car, and use a "basemap", and start from there.

The "anti-det" mod. There's some truth to that. Most detonation occurs after the trailing plugs fire. There are Mazda SAE papers which discuss this. Removing the trailing plugs hurts fuel economy, emissions, and (to some extent) power.

If you put trailing plugs in you can start with the map that's in there. Go to IGT and click "display split." Set P11-P20 rows to 12 or 15 split across the board. It's a quick solution but it will get the job done safely.

When I am sitting a stop light/sign/etc.. and am idling with A/C on, my revs will bounce up and down. Sometimes the revs go so low it almost dies, but it hasn't yet. Is there something I can change in my settings to fix this (set higher/lower idle), or is this a problem somewhere else?

I also hear a knocking sound coming from the passenger side, when the A/C is on. Almost like the cat/exhaust is hitting the frame. ( I will investigate this more, but just thowing it out there if anyone has experienced this and can pin-point the problem)

raise the A/C idle speed and A/C F/C settings under the rev/idle screen in the Commander. see if that helps

I forgot to mention that the idle does not always bounce. Sometimes it does stay constant. My current A/C idle is set at 1090. How does that compare to others? Should I adjust in 10/50/100 increments?

It is a idle tune problem that you have to resolve.
