Full Bridgeport Ignition Timing on boost power fc

Hi,

Can anyone help ignition timing on boost?

Now my IGL timing is:

10psi=13 deg
13psi=11 deg
16psi=9 deg
19psi=9 deg
22psi=? deg

Split abaut 15deg

Is this timing safe?

Some specs:
rx7 fd3s
13b turbonetics t66 water/meth injection 50/50
Injectors 850/1680cc fuelpump bosc044
apexi power fc
4"downpipe 3,5" exhaust
Full Bridgeport
hks twin power
9l and 10.5t plugs
...

Regards,

others may have better numbers for you but certainly your 9 igl w a 15 split is conservative. i would run 11 split and have no worries. the Power FC adds one degree around 4000 and another shortly thereafter so i assume the numbers you supply are off the base ignition map and you will have another 2 degrees, which is actual, logged at higher rpms.

one item i do not like is 9 heat range in the lead. w your setup you should have nothing warmer than 10 and 10.5 would be better if your ignition will fire it...

good luck,

howard

Thank you very much,

I change my all plugs NGK RACING SPARK PLUG R6725-105 what you think those plugs?

next week i go dyno, then i can try 11deg split.

same 9 igl is between 4000-8000rpm

can i try same 9igl and 11 split bigger boost, abaut 22-24psi if my injectors allow that?

Best regards,

Postert
