Flat spot ~1,400 rpm

fresh rebuilt motor

ALL solenoids removed
non-seq conversion
JDM UIM, LIM

DP,MP,CB, Intake, hard IC pipes

Base map on PFC

I have a "flat spot" in the rpm under load

between 1,400 till 2,000 rpm under no load it's fine, rpm blips and rises fast and normally.. car idles fine as well...

but if i'm in a low gear say 2nd or third and the rpm is in that range
u gas it and the car sputters and hesitates and barely wants to go
after 2 grand she comes back alive again and runs great..

o2 Feedback is disabled
turbo's are in non-seq mode

is this a tuning issue? or something else unrelated to the ECU?

i've considered Re-initiazling the Ecu and starting again... but thought i'd check here first.. before i idle for 10 mins pissing the neighbors off

YES, it is a tuning issue.

Base Fuel Map AFR or Acceleration fuel needs adjusting most likely.

i've re-initialized it and let it idle for ages.. sometimes it fixes it

other times it hesitates and bucks alot.. after the car has been off...

i've ordered an HKS twin power..

and i'll add some additional grounds to the motor as well and hope that helps..

The PFC base map was not designed to support those mods. You need a wideband. Otherwise you're throwing darts in the dark. Adding an ignition amp isn't going to eliminate the cause of the problem. The ignition is hardly being pushed at 1,400-2000rpms.

Evidently he ignored my post and thinks the PFC self tunes.
