Unhappy FC commander display won't turn on

So I was driving in the freeway today and the car kind of died, I was in fifth gear and couldn't accelerate only in neutral the engine would rev up a little. Once I came to a complete stop I shut off the car and now it won't turn on. the apexi display won't turn on at all, lights turn on everything except for the display, is it a fuse somewhere, or is it toast. I bought the car with the fc commander and don't have the stock ECU.

First check all of the connectors for the PFC and see if one came loose. Includes grounds located near the PFC.

Find someone locally to swap just for starting.

That's what I'm going to do, check all connectors. I guy that tried to help me on the freeway told me it's probably a fuse, the fuse box next to the battery is in pretty bad shape, I already order a new one, even if it's not that I still had to replace it anyway. Hopefully I don't have to take it to the mechanic, I had really, really bad experiences with mechanics. Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it.
