I bought a used power fc that was tuned for another car with larger injectors & mid pipe.
My queston is, IM planning on reseting the computer & starting over.
I heard that the base map from Apexi is good for an intake, intercooler, down pipe & catback exhaust. True?
That's what I have currently on my car, plus an efini "Y" pipe.
How high can I turn up the boost with the base map? Im only looking for around 12 to 14lbs of boost.
I dont drag race, I just want a fast street car for lapping days & autocrossing.

You can use base map 2 listed here. Also read the manual on how to adjust boost.

Now, How do I cure a hunting idle?
Since I just installed the Power fc do I just need to be more paitent? Give it some time to learn?

 

Usually too much air at idle causes hunting.
Reduce it.
