Exhaust Leak causing high knock?

Just realized that I have an exhaust leak near the turbos (ticking sound when cold, eventually goes away when warmed up), and I was just wondering if it's possible that it would cause a high knock reading? The knock does coincide directly with engine RPMs with readings as high as 160.

Any insight?

Exhaust leaks are just a good idea to get fixed - it's definitely worth eliminating that possibility.

Yeah I was planning on troubleshooting that eventually (along with a list of other things), but just wanted to see if anybody else had that kind of experience.

Otherwise, I gotta track down what else could be causing the knocking...

I had a exhaust leak at the manifold mounting gasket and never had any high knock readings because of it.
