Excessivly Rich Idle w/ Larger Injectors

Originally posted to the wrong forum (too early in the morning I guess).

New injectors (850x1300) against a previous PowerFC and the whole thing is running way too rich, especially at idle and low-rpm. This is despite my performing what I believe are the necessary adjustments to the injector settings in the PowerFC. What did I miss

Like I posted over there, do a search of the PFC forum for 850 primaries since I remember some good info being posted by people using the 850's like that and the settings they used. I'll be doing my own search soon for the same info.

Tim,

What you suggest fits the symptoms all right. I found at least one other thread which backs up what you say. If this is the case then I can't believe I made such a rookie mistake. I was so careful about doing all the research about all the work I was doing...except this one thing. The funny thing is for all the injector modification threads this specific issue has very little coverage. And all the guys in my club who have mod'd their primaries never mentioned this problem either. Hence why I probably didn't know engouh to ask/search.

I guess I have no choice but to bite the bullet and send my 550's out to be bored to 850 plust the 10-12 hours labor...which the way things have been going lately will take about two calendar months.

Thanks.
Jon
