EXCEL spreadsheet of IGL, IGT INJ maps

Guys, I am trying to find out which (model)/set of maps my PFC has installed.

I was talking with cewrx7r1 he suggested for the problems I was having to find out which map mine had stock first, but there are no PFC users (no rotatry owners) close buy to question about this

currently my car exhibits the following problems it starts detonating the minute I start to boost. when I unhooked the trailing ignition, it stopped detonating. it appears that the trialing ignition is firing to early, but I am not sure if it is a problem with the base map, or something else. so i would like to compare the base values in my PFC against others base (un modded) values.

any help would be appreciated.

I have a 93 rx7 series 6 whit the two pickups in the front I need to know if I put a timing light on the front pulley and I lock the timing on the Micro Tec what will the timing light read the reason for this is that my front timing plat is slotted and I can move the timing forward or backwards the same as a distributor

normal you will not do this as its fix on the series 6 I have install MSD on the car and it looks like the timing has moved by 9 deg.

Paulr33,

this is a conversion, the engine is not in a FC chassis so there is a a high probablility that there is a wireing problem with the coils. Engine is stock, with cat etc attached, so the stock maps should work for the engine as long as all wiring is correct.

shop that built the custom wiring harness originally had the spark plug cables in the wrong position, when I pointed this out (to them) and corrected there location it had bad detonation, they fixed this, however it still has more detonation than it should have, and I belive that there might still be a wiring problem. they claim that it must be a problem with the PFC. so I need to find out which of the maps it has installed first so that I can make an evaulation

I bought the PFC used and after searching the forums, I believe that I have the later model which came with the base mod map and would like to clarify this before going any further.

Also as I have stated to several other members, the Good shops here in japan will not touch a job like this as it is not "plug and play" nor will they tune the computer as they did not sell it. its not like in the States, or Australia where you can pay a shop to tune your PFC, Microtech, Motronic whatnot.

Here if they did not sell it to you then they will say that you have to buy "there" brand that they use, or they charge you as much as it costs to buy a new ECU + tuning before they will touch it

currently chuck8313BTSDS from Yokotat has a wide band, and datalogit and has offered to help, but I want to ensure that the wiring is correct first in order to do this I need to know which maps this thing has.

if it has the base stock, then I have heard that its timing is too advanced even for a "stock" motor and needs to be adjusted for that if thats the case then the wiring issues have probably been resolved, and Chuck can help me with the setting, if not I need to get the wirinr issues taken care of first.
