Engine stalling woes
Engine is a street ported S4 13BT. Secondary thorttle plates removed.
I have the idle set at about 1050 RPM(Manual idle control)and the F/C idles all set at 1200 rpm.
Issue I am having is when i just barely tap the throttle is stumbles below 950 rpm and then dies. SOMETIMES it doesn't die and boggles back up to 1050 RPM. It is a pain when releasing the clutch because if the rpms are not above 1000-1200 rpm the engines starts to stall and lean out.I have to revthe engine above the F/C idle of 1200rpm to get it to stop at 1050 rpm.
I know that since my secondary throttle plates are removed this would cause a lean condition with the sudden rush of air entering the engine. BUT this is just a very small tap of the throttle; i would say 9% open. I have the S4 tps and am using ARGHX Accel Injector & INJ vs Accel TPS settings. I increased the INJ vs Accel TPS settings quite a bit from 6:9(bottom row) and even changed the 100o rpm settings on the Accel Injector to see if it was a LEAN TIP in problem. Increaseing the AMOUNT, DECAY and SETTING portion of both boxes did nothing.
Anyone have stalling issues like this? I know FC3S knowledge is limited here but your input is appreciated. Thanks!
