Does the PFC reset????

When you disconnect the power or the ecu itself...does the pfc reset itself? Just wondering b/c I had someone take a look at mine and said that it was not running a base mod map, that it was actually setup to duplicate a stock ecu

I've had mine reset itself because some wires in my fenderwell shorted out.

The PFC has an internal battery, like a ton of other solid-state devices. The "base mod" map is the default map the PFC ships with and defaults to when it is reinitialized. No one could tell you it has been changed to mimic the stock ecu.
