Does the igt and igl maps have to be changed for 98ron fuel?

I'm from the UK and have 98Ron fuel from the pumps, and the PFC is tuned for 92Ron. I'm assuming the ignition maps would have to be changed to take advantage of this?.

Thanks,

Chun.

With higher octane fuel, you could run more timing advance and make more power safely.

The problem is finding what this value is. If you contact someone in Japan and get the base stock maps for their fuel and compare to the base stock maps for US(92) fuel, this should give some info on the timing difference.

Maybe someone in Australia can help you. Ask on the single turbo forum where there are more non-USA members.
