Power FC do i need to reset my PFC?

do i need to reset my PFC?
so i installed my PFC the other day.
i followed the install faq pdf that i found in a thread in this section.
i did everything according to the directions: snipped the 4 extra wires, allowed the car to learn the idle for 10 mins, then 10 mins with the rear defroster on, then 10 mins with the a/c on.
here's the weird thing:
when i slow down and come to a stop, the idle will bounce between 800 - 1300 rpm for about 20 seconds. if the a/c is on, or if there is any sort of electrical draw (headlights on / rear defroster on / etc) the idle does not bounce.
if the idle is bouncing and you turn on the a/c or the rear-defroster, the bouncing will stop and it will idle around 900rpm.
the only time the idle bounces is when i slow down to a stop, and when the a/c is off (and all additional accessories are off).
the bouncing idle only last for about 20 seconds.
does my PFC need to re-learn the idles?
should i reset the PFC (disconnect the batter?) and then let it go through the idle learning process again (10 min w/ no accessories, 10 min w/ rear defroster, 10 min w/ air conditioning)?
thoughts?

One of the most common asked questions by PFC newbs. This has been answered many many times.
Search on bouncing idle.
You need to manually reduce air flow through the throttle body. This is usually the fix. Next might be a minor fuel adjustment.
