I am installing my new datalogit. My main question is do you put the disc in the laptop first w/o being hooked up to the PFC in the car or not. Also, the setup instructions I got (pc. of paper) doesnt say if the car needs to be running or not??

Any suggestions ?????????????????????????????

 

You can install the FC Edit software without hooking your laptop to the datalogit.

The car does not need to be running, but the ignition switch does need to be in the run position.
