Question Datalogit owners??

Anyone who owns a datalogit,
Are there good detailed maps avail for HF cat? Im talking about 330rwhp maps? I would just buy a datalogit, but once I tune it pretty much exact how I want it, thats it, no playing around w/ it for me. So, I do not wish to spend $300 on an item I will use just a limited amount of time and I would still need a wideband or pay for dyno. I would like a proven map, so I can use a friends datalogit and see if my HF cat is actually clogged(see if I can come close to mapped RWHP).

thanks,
Steve

Can't help you with the map but once you get a datalogit, I seriously doubt it will just sit around. There is just so much information you can get at and learn about your car. Just fyi and no I don't work for them.

You do not need a datalogit to tune the PFC! With the datalogit, you will also need a laptop to use it.

You will still need a wideband for tuning AFRs with or without a datalogit. Go back and read the many tuning threads posted between the end of 2001 and early 2002.

Just grab a set of maps for a engine similar to yours as a starting point.

The DIY Wb is the one everyone seems to use. It's a kit that is cheaper and very popular.

I have the FJO. It's more expensive but has a great reputation.

Some have been meaning to test whether the DIY is as good as the FJO in accuracy but I have not seen results.

The good thing is that the DIY gets plenty of feedback since everyon on that board seems to use it. It does seem like there's a lot of issues with them though.

I built and use both the American Version (http://www.diy-wb.com/info.htm) and the OZ (http://www.techedge.com.au/vehicle/wbo2/)of the DIY. Both use the NTK L1H1 sensor from a 91-94 Civic VX and are virtually identical. The advantage of the OZ-DIY is that there is a kit or prebuilt system available and it is smaller and has a better thought out connector system. The problem with the )Z kit is that it takes an incredibly steady hand to solder the extremely small parts onto an equally extremely small PCB.
