Datalogit Map- Want to trade?

I have a bout 10 maps. I have some single turbo maps and twin maps, some xs some from other tuners. . Some ported, some not. Does anyone want to trade?? It seems there are plenty of people who have the datalogit but no one seems willing to share. Lets get going otherwise I'll have to join the Haltech community. Thay seem to be more open to sharing.

Yea, I think the main problem isnt so much not wanting to help people, its more like people not feeling comfortable with thier own maps. No one wants to give a fellow enthusiast a map that they dont even feel comfortable with in thier own car.

Thats how I feel, I know everyone is responsible for what they do to thier car and what maps they run but I dont feel comfortable enough with my map to hand it out. In about a month I'd getting some major dyno time/tuning and am hoping good things come out of it.

Later,
STEPHEN

I have some XS maps and some SR maps but I do not feel right giving them out, they belong to the tuner and/or owner. I am willing to share my personal maps, PM me.

Technically, the maps belong to the person who paid for the work. Did you see a copyright notice, or a do not distribute anywhere? So, unless you have permission from the owner of the maps, you should delete them. If you do, and they don't care what you do with them then ...

Yes maps belong to the owner, not the shop. The shop gains knowledge the car and mods via your $$. That is just the way it goes.

I just do not feel right sharing others maps without their permission. A tuner's maps are their intellectual property in my perspective and if they want to give them away then so will I. I don't believe my personal maps are worth much so that's where I draw the line.

I WILL be willing to share my map as soon as I can log the A/F ratios (wideband) that correspond to it. I would feel more comfortable about TRYING someone elses map if I had their logs (especially the A/F ratios) as insurance that the match is a good one.

Peter at Techedge is WAY behind on the DIY, so it might be a while before I can contribute, but a map that came with a log would be worth a LOT more than a map alone.

My maps are posted on the Datalogit Group files section (the original XS ones). I'm still tuning and will post a final version once it will be of use to someone.
