datalogit help

I just got my datalogit, my 3 bar map sensor and my injectors. I dont have access to the e-group yet so I was wondering if anybody could help me out. I want to import all of the info on my power fc to my pc. I'm not quite sure how to do it, but I think I just click the read button in the datalogit software. Is this correct?

Actually the manual isn't going to help you here. Sounds like you might have a COM port conflict. If you've manually tried all the COM ports and none of them work, then make sure you aren't running some other software such as Palm Hotsync software, which could be trying to use that same COM port.

Also make sure the datalogit is plugged in well to the PFC. Mine was tight and didn't want to fit well to start with. If your commander is working through the datalogit, or if the red light is on, on the datalogit box, you should be fine there.

I'm assuming you're using a regular serial port. If you're trying to use USB, that's a whole other can of worms...

Otherwise, you're right that you just need to click the "Read All" button to pull all the info from your PFC into the datalogit software.
