datalogit - hard time with Wideband input, common problem?

Hey guys,
Im hooking my Datalogit beige box to the LM-1 and i wanted to see if my issue is common. I havent solved it yet, but ive narrowed it down. (as a result im making a kick *** how-to article lol)

Symptoms:

Set LM-1 to 0-5 volts equal to 9-16 AFR
Verified with volt meter on Red and Ground wires and got 2.6v with engine idling.
Set FC-Edit to expect 9-16AFR on AN1
Plugged Red into AN1 and ground into 0V (and later AN2 for troubleshooting)

I put my volt meter on the screws that hold AN1 and 0V in place and read teh same 2.6v. Opened FC-edit, read all, and added a watch for AN1 raw and got 0 across the board.

Moved Ground to AN2 and changed FC-Edit to measure Delta AN1-AN2 (the difference in V between the two) and got 0 again.

Is this a common issue that the FC-Datalogit has a hard time with ground? Before i tear into it and ground it for good. lol

INNOVATEs are harder to set up. Do a search here and you will find much info.

Thanks for the guidance. To properly close my thread, i found my problem. Simple one too. I thought i had logging auxiliary ports on. I did not.

Additionally, i found a 0.049V difference between doing Delta AN1-AN2 and just AN1 vs 0V.

I have a discrepancy on my datalogit vs the readout on the LM-1 of about 0.5 AFR aka if the datalogit reads 12.5, the O2 sensor says 12. im sure there are ways to adjust that :-)

The fact that the DL records a little off from a O2 WB's gauge is a known fact for us senior and serious DL users. I have mentioned this and it is in my tuning notes.

I don't know if it's the LM-1 or what. My late model 7 wire LC1, after I set it up properly, had no noticeable discrepancies.
