Datalogit ground wire (blue wire)

I bought this datalogit about a 18 months ago. I haven't used it until this week. It's not working and am wondering if someone sold me a datalogit for another car. This one has a blue wire coming out of the side of it.

The last one I had didn't have this blue wire.

Do any of the datalogits for the FD have this blue wire?

afaik, all datalogits for the fd do not come with any blue wire's whatsoever. Do you have a pic?

Most likely a custom mod.
Mine has a green ground wire coming out of it. I installed it to connect to the ground of my WB.
I also have a noise filtering capacitor between AN1 and the internal ground.
