Daily drivers w/PFC

I just finished installing an XS single kit along w/ a PFC. My car will be used for daily driving only. Now I've totally lost my a/c. So what has everyone with a daily driven PFC equipped car done to regain the A/c? I tried Chuck Westbrook's fix but it didn't work, it was like a hot ground, current goes to the system as long as the key's in the ignition. Please help...

You must not have wired my temp fix incorrectly. Everyone else who have tried it have had it work fine.

Go back and read it again.

From reading your fix, you just join the 1L & 1E wires on the harness side right? That's what I did, please elaborate if there's something I'm missing. As I said in my previous post, when I do that, a constant ground is sent to the a/c relay even with the ign. sw. off.

I really do appreciate you taking the time to respond, & I hope you can guide me thru this, I want to try out my new single turbo!

My fix takes the control circuit from(by memory):

GROUND - fan speed switch - AC switch - AC freeze switch - AC relay coil to some postive 12 volts. I do not remember if the 12 volts is switched or not. The AC pressure switch is also in there some.

It only conducts electricity and turns on the AC if the fans are turned on and the AC switch is turned on.
So it is not constantly grounded. If you have the manuals, you can follow my instructions through the schematics and see it.
