D585 coils - what needed to work & any good?
My apologies if this is covered already; I'm short of time and a search brought me nothing.
What do you need to use D585 ignition coils with the PFC on an EFR 7670 (say 15 psi, 350 rwhp)? How will this compare with using AEM IGN-1A coils?
As background, the single turbo conversion that I'm completely redoing apart from the engine itself has a PFC, the standard FD coils and standard igniter. I'm putting on an EFR 7670 instead of the ancient Turbonetics T72 that it came with. I'll research the PFC next week, for example there is no AFR sensor on the car and I want to upgrade the coils, and have only a short time to consider a knock-down offer I've been given for D585 coils originally used on an RX8.
