can anyone tell what this is for on the datalogit? I can never use it, is it normal? What does it do exactly?

 

I just got my datalogit also, and i messed around with this feature. what it does, is after you have a map loaded, you can click on compare and then select another map you have on your hard drive. This will load the 2nd set of settings and then do a comparison from the 2nd one (compare one) to the first one. Any items that are different will be in red with a number of difference in case of fuel and ignition maps, or in case of say the fan's you can hold the mouse over it and it will give you the other number.

For the black universal box, you need version 2.122 of the software for the compare to work.
