cannot adjust ignition at idle?
Any idea why I all the sudden can't change my ign timing at idle?
On the commander it reads -5 for the leading
My cells for idle are all set at 13 for the leading
The idle ign control is turned off
it was working fine earlier, then all of the sudden this pops up.
Anyone have any ideas?
I would email the dataloggit group but cant remeber the address
Thanks
Bob

thanks Chuck, saw and responded to that. Just doesn't make sense why you would be able to turn off the idle ign control if you can't do anything about the ign once you've done it, and I know I could do it earlier that was why I had set it to 14 degrees because that is what I have found works well on microtechs for a strong idle, and it worked well on mine too, till I lost control of the ignition at idle.

Ok I figured it out!
To be able to change the ignition that the pfc actually uses at idle you have to set the idle down, I had inadvertantly raised mine to 900 with no load and this was my problem. I set the idles all at 0 rpms and I can now adjust the ignition that the pfc puts out at cranking idle and everywhere else. Thanks for the help and opinions from those who responded to my original problem.
