can you save 2 different tunes into ur pfc and commander?? reason i ask is that it would be nice to have one set at a lower boost setting for street daily driving and of course the other a higher boost level for racing!

can you do this with the pfc? if so that will kick total ***!!

ive heard of these datalogit but where do i find one? i cant seem to find it on apexi's website?

 

I know rotary performance sells them. Thats where i got mine. You would still have to load up each map from a laptop.

 

Your question shows that you do not understand how engine ECUs work.
There is just one vacuum/boost table. The table handles all from high vacuum to high boost. Thus you can have most of it tuned for gas up to say 16 psi, and for race gas over 16 psi.

This duality forces you to remember to fill with race gas before going over 16psi boost.

Some like to have two totally seperate maps, but then you have to also remember to chanage the map.

 

ur right i dont know anything bout this stuff lol.. just what i hear people talk about and what i would like to have in my car.. weither its possible or not possible thats why I ask..

about the datalogit if al i need is to have the program saved on my laptop and just plug it in and upload it then thats easy enough when im at the track persay! and upload a street tune for the cruise home that sounds wicked cool to me..

 

The DL allows loading a totally different map within seconds nto the PFC.
You can have many maps all saved on your laptop to load into the PFC when needed.

 

now that would be cool to have a race map, steet map, and a highway map for good gas mileage! if we can tune for that haha!
