Power FC A/C doesn't work with PFC
A/C doesn't work with PFC
Today I tried to resolve my a/c problem by taking it to my local rotary shop becuase i thought there was a leak in the line. It ended up that the compressor wasn't turnning on. Checked all the wires, relays and fuses and they were fine. I then swaped the Power FC for the stock ECU and the compressor turned on. Is there anything that I could do or something I should have done to make the compressor turn on with the PFC. Thanks.
This problem has been around since 1999, and has been discussed so many times. If you do a search you will find many threads on it.
There are abour three fixes out there to get the AC to work on at lease speeds 1,2, and 4.
New engine harness (my 2nd publication about 2001), new AC fan switch (2004), and ECU bypass (my 1st publication about 2000).
Go to it!

Thanks for the info but i didn't understand it. Today i noticed that the compressor turns on when the switch is on one but turns off when switched to other speeds. I do remember reading something about hot wiring the ecu so that the compressor whould turn on but it wasn't fully understood. Thanks for your reply
