I have a K&N Panel Filter in an unmodified stock air box, a downpipe, midpipe and cat-back exhaust, will the base map on the Power FC run safely (for me to go to the shop and get tuned) is it rich enough to compensate for the boost creep i will most likely experience?

 

It should be plenty safe for driving in vacuum or light boosting. I doubt you would experience boost creep with the stock intake/IC, but if you did, it would only occur in the higher gears at WOT anyway.

 

i do have a commander (still waiting for my Datalogit) how easy would it to be to richen up the higer RPMs to compensate for the creep?

would it be worth it?

 

alternately would it be safe to drive hard using the fc commander as a boost gauge (letting off if it ever saw .70?)

 

nevermind, i just installed it and drove it and its doing fine =), just gotta get it tuned soon...

 

hey dude since your geting a data logit i have something for you, i have a toshiba labretto laptop its half the size of the glove box door, i will trade with your commander since your getting the data loggiet and you can keep it in the car let me know i need the commander like yesterday lol oh yea im in GERMANTOWN MD
