Anybody running a midpipe and smic upgrade with the base pfc maps?

Just wondering if this would be safe to run...my friend is running dp,mp,cb, intake, fmic and hks twinpower on the base maps and it hasn't blown up yet.

I am running about the same thing. No problems, but I have put an orifice plate in my exhaust to eliminate boost creep.
