Any use for the Commander?

Is there any use for the Commander now that the Datalogit is out?
I may be picking up a PFC and Datalogit. Is it true you can't use both togheter (Datalogit and Commander)?
I could save the cash of not getting the Commander and getting the Datalogit and using my laptop instead, I don't need the gauge readings because I have gauges already.
Opinions on the Datalogit?

So now that the Datalogit is out, there really is no need to get a Commander, correct?

I'd still get the commander for monitoring purposes, not sure what gauges you have but it's pretty nice to have the that much info and peak hold. If you're relying on PFC for boost control it's nice to have it around for fine tuning duty cycle. You can monitor it all with a laptop but who wants to drive around with a laptop all the time. Otherwise, there's no need for the commander to change settings. Yes, you can use them together, it's designed that way.

Yes, apparently the Datalogit box has a port that you plug the Commander into, so I assume you can run both.

Ditto! I am getting a Power FC and was also interested in the Datalogit. Sounds cool. Is it just as adaptive as the Haltech?
