Anti Lag on PFC ?
Hi all.
It's my first post on this forum, so be gentle...
I really want a PFC, but I heard someone post that you could run an anti lag function on it? Is this true?
Are there any downside to getting the PFC over other stand alone ECU? My goal is now just stick with my twin Turbo setup, but have the ability to go single and about 400 hp in a little while. The car will be used as a streetracer only. Anti lag is not a big deal, but if it's on the PFC, that's just cool.
I really like the PFC, bechause it just clicks right in.
Looking forward to your replies.

The PFC's anti-lag settings will dump a whole lot of fuel and retard timing, in effect setting up a rather large explosion of gases, hence more juice to move the turbines. There is a side effect of a big BANG, too. I am thinking this would stress the turbos, if not the driver!
In the coming weeks 2 of us are going to milk over 380 RWHP out of the stockers without killing the engine/turbos. Wait, watch, lurk and see.
If you're going dedicate the car to racing, you would be doing yourself an injustice if you did not consider the Haltech. Alot of fast cars run it, esp. the singles. I prefer the A'pexi, but it is cheaper for me, even with the add-on datalogit.
I, personally, would stay away from 1st gen. new products. I have enough ways to blow my engine, I don't need a "software bug" to do it for me!
Measure, theorize (and ask), plan, implement, test, evaluate, repeat.
Measure what you got now, figure how fast you can afford, plan out what/when to get to your goal, execute on that plan (don't stray), test each change to make sure there is a positive results, figure out if you're on budget and on goal, and the start over again (re-measure, figure out if you still want the same things, etc.)
Regards,
