Advice on Power FC

I own a 93 FD with a relatively fresh Pineapple Racing rebuild (about 10k) on a stock motor. The only engine mods are a HKS downpipe, Bonex hi-flo cat, RB cat-back and a 150A alternator. The car has been apart for some time while I worked on the stereo/alarm, interior and electrical system. The car starts right up and runs great now that I've got it nearly put back together.

I have collected an assortment of parts (Efini turbos, Greddy FMIC and intake, Koyo radiator and ACT clutch kit/lightened flywheel) which I would like to install all in one session. I was planning to install the Power FC while the interior is still apart, but I noticed in the Power FC FAQ that the unit has to "learn" the idle of the vehicle which requires the A/C to be switched on. In order to install the Dynamat I removed the carpet, which required removal of the HVAC. I wasn't going to recharge the A/C until the other upgrades have been completed. How is that going to effect the Power FC? Should I wait and do the Power FC after I do the other items and get the A/C recharged?

The short answer is that you can put it in and it will be fine for now. It is possible to relearn the idle later.
