Question Adjusting Throttle Position Sensor

How do you use the switch screen on the PFC to adjust the TPS?

I think the sensors you want are VTA1 and VTA2. You should just be able to adjust the screws tell the voltage on those are within spec of the FSM. Then send the ECU through the idle re-learn.

I don't remember them off the top of my head. www.iluvmyrx7.com is to slow for me to hunt through the PDFs for you.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=TPS+voltage

Heres a link to another thread that has some tps voltage readings by them.

I seem to remeber with my car I could not get one of them to come into spec (the higher of the two voltages) but it was only off by .15 of a volt and the it was close enough that the PFC could hold the idle.

edit: sorry didn't mean to sound like an ***. I don't have the PDFs here at work on my computer, but when I get home I'll look them up for you if you haven't already found them.

VTA1 = (3G) (Full Range) Closed .1-.7v, Closed-Open .4-4.3v, Open 4.2-4.6v,
VTA2 = (3F) (Narrow Range) Closed .75-1.25v, Closed-Open 1.0-5.0v, Open 4.8-5.0v,

This info is on pg F183 of the service manual.
